Job Description
Workday Consultant - Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll We are seeking a Workday Consultant with expertise in Workday Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll . This role will be responsible for configuring and maintaining security roles, supporting time tracking, absence management, and payroll. The ideal candidate must have hands-on Workday experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to optimize system functionality. Responsibilities
Workday Security
Workday Consultant - Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll We are seeking a Workday Consultant with expertise in Workday Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll . This role will be responsible for configuring and maintaining security roles, supporting time tracking, absence management, and payroll. The ideal candidate must have hands-on Workday experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to optimize system functionality. Responsibilities
Workday Security
- Maintain and configure Workday Security roles, ensuring appropriate access and compliance.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly security audits and resolve access issues.
- Configure Business Process Security Policies and Domain Securities across functional areas, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence (Time Off and Leave), Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, and Reporting.
- Research and resolve day-to-day configurable security challenges .
- Identify new enhancements and review feature releases for configurable security .
- Define role-based and user-based security , aligning with functional SMEs to ensure business processes reflect the agreed-upon roles.
- Support the configuration and management of Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.
- Assist with time calculation rules, accrual setups, and eligibility requirements .
- Collaborate with HR and stakeholders to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies .
- Assist in configuring and maintaining Workday Payroll setup, including earnings, deductions, and pay configurations .
- Partner with payroll teams to optimize processing and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure payroll system compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support reporting needs of the payroll team across entities.
- 5+ years of experience in Workday Security, Time & Absence, and Payroll .
- Experience using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) .
- Strong understanding of Workday business processes and security framework .
- Ability to analyze system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity.
- Excellent time management skills , with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Global Workday experience is a plus .
