Speech Language Pathologist

Arlington Public Schools, Arlington, MA 02476 Position: Speech and Language Pathologist Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred MA Certification in Speech and Language Ability to offer variety of services and complete assessments Performance Responsibilities Provide therapeutic services to students with a range of speech and language disorders and delays, both individually and in groups, for elementary school students. Perform diagnostic evaluations and implement treatment plans in relation to student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement effective therapy integrated with the student’s program. Serve as a consultant to school staff regarding the development of services. Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences. Write goals for IEPs. Maintain thorough records for each student receiving services. Terms of Employment: 183 days Reports to: Special Education Coordinator and Building Principal Salary and Benefits are consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.
