Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Allegheny Family Connection Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnosis various mental health disorders.

• Leading therapeutic sessions tailored for individuals, couples, and family groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Developing and implementing treatment plans that consider the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Facilitating communication and conflict resolution strategies among families experiencing interpersonal difficulties.

• Providing education and resources regarding mental health and wellness to clients and their families.
\n
• Referring clients to specialized services when needed, promoting holistic care.

• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of sessions and progress in compliance with organizational policies.

• Participating in team meetings and case reviews to foster a collaborative treatment approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload may include clients facing a variety of challenges such as: alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, blended family dynamics, adjustment issues related to separation and divorce, and job-related stress. You will play an integral role in helping clients navigate these issues and develop coping strategies that lead to healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation.

• An active state license to practice in Texas.
\n
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
