• Finished Goods & Order Pulling: Offload finished retreads from final inspection; match DOT codes and serial numbers to customer work orders; palletize, stack, and stage completed commercial assemblies for shipping.
• Powered Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, tire clamps, and overhead hoist systems to move heavy commercial truck tires (up to 120+ lbs using proper mechanical aids and team lifting).
• Scrap & Casing Disposition: Stage rejected casings that fail shearography or visual inspection for customer return, scrap disposal, or casing credit processing.
• Inventory Tracking: Perform regular physical cycle counts of raw tread stock, valves, wheel accessories, and plant supplies using digital RF scanners and ERP/WMS manifests.
• Facility & Dock Safety: Maintain clear transit paths, clean loading docks, ensure fire lanes remain unobstructed, and uphold plant cleanliness and OSHA/safety standards.
• Bilingual Communication: Provide direct English/Spanish translation for work orders, curing specs, safety briefings, scrap reports, and driver check-ins across the production floor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish (strong verbal communication required to coordinate between floor staff, plant supervisors, and route drivers).
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing plant, retread facility, or automotive/commercial tire distribution environment.
• Equipment Certification: Prior experience or in-house certification on sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, or motorized pallet jacks.
• Physical Demands:
• • Must be able to roll, lift, stack, and move commercial truck tires weighing 75 to 120+ lbs using proper handling techniques.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and walk on concrete floors throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial plant/warehouse setting exposed to rubber odor, curing heat, ambient weather changes, and machine noise.
• Work Ethic & Reliability: Strong attention to order accuracy, punctual attendance, valid driver’s license or dependable transportation, and flexibility to work overtime during peak fleet turnaround periods.
