Associate Attorney - Employment Class Action and Personal Injury

Job Overview Law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Long Beach, CA, with three to five years of experience to join their team. The firm specializes in employment law, class actions, and PAGA actions, offering a collaborative environment focused on client success. Duties Evaluate and analyze case facts with statutory and case law for strategy development. Draft legal documents including memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and motions. Draft and respond to written discovery. Take and defend depositions. Prepare oral arguments for motions. Engage in trial preparation. Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Communicate effectively with firm members, clients, and opposing counsel. Manage caseload independently with senior attorney support. Requirements Three to five years of relevant legal experience. Passion for legal research and writing. Interest in advocating for employee and consumer rights. Ability to work with a diverse client base. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in California. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Time management and prioritization abilities.
