The starting pay range for this position per hour is $22.25 - $24.25. The full pay range for this position per hour is $22.25 - $37.80 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The Style team is passionate about Apparel and Accessories (A&A), bringing the energy of style to life with compelling in‑store presentations that enable quick and easy self‑discovery. They are welcoming and helpful in meeting guests needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room and have resources to provide assistance with outfitting, accessorizing and building the basket to drive top line sales. The role of a Style Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of: Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest‑first culture on your team Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals Leading a team of hourly team members, including skills in helping with selecting, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent As a Style Team Leader, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience. Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations. Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments. Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align the team on the right behaviors and execution, celebrating wins, driving results that deliver outcomes and elevating the guest experience. Understand sales goals, plan daily/weekly workload at the direction of your direct leader, and execute the same to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing workload, make changes to sales floor merchandise displays, sales plans, events and promotions. With direct leader guidance, lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate about Apparel & Accessories by ensuring they are educated on our brands and assortment offerings. Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations, assisting with incident response, and reporting/investigating injuries timely and accurately. With direct leader guidance, lead the apparel backroom process, including sort, backroom organization and replenishment of the sales floor in support of replenishment, fulfillment and guest needs. Plan and validate floor pad sets by ensuring visual merchandising guides, transitions, revisions and sales plans are set accurately and teams are following merchandising best practices as needed to support a guest‑ready floor pad. Establish routines to ensure fitting rooms are welcoming, clean, and safe for our team members and guests. Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions. Model the execution of physical security processes in order to enhance the in‑store security culture. Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store, including storage and application as directed by best practices. Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences. If applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes. Occasionally assume store‑level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on store needs. Address all store emergency and compliance needs. Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive‑up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws. All other duties based on business needs.
