What We're Looking For

We're looking for a collaborative HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and creating positive associate experiences. The ideal candidate is confident working with individuals at all levels of the organization, balancing day-to-day HR responsibilities with longer-term initiatives that support talent development and organizational growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, offer coordination, and onboarding of new associates.
• Serve as a trusted HR partner by providing guidance and support to associates and leaders on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
• Coordinate and administer key HR programs, including benefits, compensation, performance reviews, compliance, and associate development initiatives.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities while partnering with managers to ensure successful integration and engagement of new associates.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and HRIS data while supporting payroll-related processes and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Coordinate training and development programs, leadership development initiatives, career growth opportunities, and workforce planning efforts.
• Support associate engagement, recognition, communication, and culture-building programs that enhance the overall associate experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, workforce organizations, industry groups, and community partners to support recruiting and talent development efforts.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, company policies, and HR best practices while identifying and escalating potential risks.
• Lead and support HR projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness and support business objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 6+ years of progressive human resources experience with demonstrated experience across multiple HR disciplines.
• Working knowledge of employment practices, HR administration, benefits, recruiting, associate relations, and performance management.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build credibility and trust with associates and leaders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Rippling and WorkforceGo), Employee Navigator, and Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or other HR certification.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, professional services, or other operationally focused organizations.
• Experience supporting both office and field/hourly workforces.
• Experience with training and workforce development programs.
• Experience with recruiting and talent pipeline development.
