Position Overview

Developmental / Behavioral Pediatrician – rank available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Practice location: Morgantown, WV. Additional sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania with travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of developmental-behavioral pediatrics.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Develop or collaborate on research initiatives across developmental-behavioral pediatric domains.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and BCBAs to provide direct clinical services, training, and research through the Department of Pediatrics and the Neurodevelopmental Center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a state medical license.
• Completed a pediatrics residency program.
• Completed a developmental-behavioral fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in developmental-behavioral pediatrics.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Schedule and Compensation

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Exempt position (United States of America).
