Configuration Management Specialist

The engine on the aircraft not only provides thrust but Bleed air to provide cooling to the aircraft, hydraulic power to move large surfaces, electrical power for the electronics. The controls for that engine will be in the cockpit.

Compensation: Up to $61.24/hr up based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include available request.

Planning tasks and developing plans
Communication skills to help others see the plans
Knowledge of military configuration management rules
Configuration Management experience
EIA 649-1 experience
Change and variance management processing
Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) creation and updates
A.C.N. management/tracking


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to be able to inform the designers on the rules of military configuration management. What type of kitting is necessary in order to perform the modification, how to organize the drawing structure for the engineers and for the modification facility.
