The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, and be capable of working collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Implement and manage event-driven systems using Kafka or equivalent technologies.Build responsive, reusable, and dynamic user interfaces using React JS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Integrate front-end applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise data services.Collaborate with IT teams to incorporate security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or JWT-based authorization.Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features.Analyze and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.Develop unit and integration tests and support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver solutions.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7 years of professional software development experience, including strong full-stack development experience.Strong hands-on proficiency in Java 11/17 , Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.Strong experience with React JS and modern front-end development practices.Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and reusable component development.Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based integrations.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices.Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to independently drive technical implementation and collaborate with distributed business and engineering teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tooling.Experience developing applications in financial services, banking, risk, compliance, or another regulated environment.Agile/Scrum development experience.
