Job Description This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM), a 63-year-old Program with a long-standing history of Mission Success and of a strong partnership with our Navy Customer! Location: This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. *Please note we will not provide relocation services for this position. What does this role look like? The new Hardware Engineer will support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). Use your strong electrical engineering skills to work with all project partners and define the future for FBM! Key activities you will accomplish in this role: In this dynamic role you will:
• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy's Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Support the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending.
• Support the development hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Support the development of test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
• Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%. To be effective in this role, you will need: • Experience in both design and test of electrical hardware
• 1+ years of professional experience for this role.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,600 - $139,840.
