Service Manager with rental exp. - (Austin, TX)

Service Manager Introduction Welcome to the position of Service Manager at Holland Pump Company! We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our customer service team. You will be responsible for developing strategies and plans to ensure that customer service is delivered efficiently and effectively. You will also be the point of contact for customers, providing guidance, support, and problem-solving solutions. Job Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage daily operations of service/repair department - Ensure all customer service needs are met in a timely and professional manner - Develop and implement procedures for service operations - Identify problem areas and recommend solutions - Monitor service personnel performance and take corrective actions when necessary - Manage Baseplan (ERP) for accuracy - Monitor parts and materials inventory - Maintain relationships with vendors - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations - Train, coach, and motivate service personnel - Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction - Track and report on service metrics - Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Job Requirements: - Proven experience working in a service management role (rental exp preferred) - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once - In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Understanding of budgeting and financial management - Familiarity with computer systems and software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - Ability to motivate and mentor staff - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Benefits Include: * Holland Pump offers a competitive salary and benefits package to include Medical/Dental Insurance, 401(k) with Match, Paid PTO/Holidays, Life Insurance, Short-Term/ Long-Term Disability Insurance and Uniforms.
