Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year plus Annual Bonus Opportunities
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Ready to own procurement at a growing tool manufacturer? Staffmark is hiring a Buyer on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in Clover, SC - a direct hire opportunity with room to make a real impact on the supply chain.

What You'll Do

• Manage and track purchase orders from creation through on-time delivery
• Negotiate pricing and terms with domestic and global suppliers
• Use ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite a plus) to review material needs against production schedules and sales data
• Optimize inventory levels to reduce working capital, prevent stock-outs, and minimize obsolete materials
• Evaluate supplier performance and resolve shipping or quality discrepancies
• Coordinate material cycle counts and serve as backup to the Materials Planner for work orders
• Act as the cross-functional link between production, engineering, sales, and finance on material shortages and design changes
• Process vendor returns and monitor acknowledgment

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Lean manufacturing knowledge
• Experience with domestic and global suppliers a plus
• HS diploma or GED required; BS in Business, Engineering, or related field a plus
