Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling non-fabricated steel to industrial establishments, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and meeting sales targets. This role includes regular in-person visits, market analysis, and collaboration with internal departments.

Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

• Maintain and grow current customer base.• Prospect and develop new business opportunities.• Introduce new products and services to customers.• Provide market information and product knowledge to clients.• Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts and formal quotes.• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.• Maintain accurate sales records and mailfile information.• Collaborate regularly with Inside Sales and other counterparts.• Complete and submit expense reports and call logs.• Attend specialized product and sales training sessions

• 2–5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the steel or industrial sector.• Bachelor's degree preferred.• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
