Pay Rate: $16.00 an hour plus tips!

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide information to guests on bingo and other property amenities and promotions
• Operate point-of-sales system and handle cash and cash equivalents
• Follow established policies and procedures
• Reconcile inventory, cash received and payouts
• Complete paperwork ensuring neatness and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Cross-train in all areas of Bingo and Pull Tabs

Knowledge And Certification, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge and Certification

• Required: 6 months cash handling experience
• Preferred: 6 months previous sales and guest service experience

Skills

• Required: Accurate and detail-oriented
• Required: Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Required: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Required: Above average math skills

Abilities

• Required: Ability to enthusiastically sell and up-sell bingo packages and pull tabs
• Required: Ability to work fast and efficiently
• Required: Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
• Required: Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
• Required: Ability to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional manner
• Required: Ability to serve both internal and external customers

Required Training

• Treasure Island guest service training
• Point-of-sale register training
• Training in all areas of Bingo and Pull Tabs including programs, pricing, promotions, etc.
• Any position-related training as determined by department manager

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk and / or stand for periods of up to 8 hours
• Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel frequently
• Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
• Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds infrequently
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
• Must have good eye hand coordination

Working Environment

• Work is performed on the gaming floor, which has flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
• Must be able to work in cramped, tight quarters
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
• Occasionally overtime may be required
• Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
• High volume direct public contact
