Details Work in a 33-bed Oncology PCU/Med-Surg mix unit Patient ratios of 5:1 (MS), 4:1 (PCU), and 3-4:1 (chemo) Treats patients with lymphoma, leukemia, and VATs procedures Administers chemo, blood products, and immunotherapy medications Utilizes IVs, PCA, CPAP, central lines, peritoneal dialysis, and wound vac equipment RN must read telemetry and titrate accordingly Uses Epic EMR Night shift schedule, 645p-715a, every other weekend 36 hours per week over three 12-hour shifts Requirements Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years acute inpatient PCU RN experience required Epic EMR experience required Oncology experience preferred Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required Additional Information Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient plans of care Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff while mentoring and precepting team members Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient/family education Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives Accepts local candidates American Traveler Job ID P-747762.
