Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel -Shift: 7a-730p -Every other weekend -Holidays as needed based on schedule -EMR: Cerner -Certs required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS -Patient Ratio: 1:4-6 depending on acuity -Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 required, 3 preferred -Will you accept a first-time traveler? no -Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Trauma post-surgical, MVA, elective surgeries, Whipple s, chole s, GSW, blunt/penetrating trauma s, assaults, ATV, amputations -Must have skills: Blood Admin, skeletal, bucks traction, drains, JP, Chest Tube management, wound dressings, wound vac management, wound care. Heparin gtt, high flow, stable bipap, Trach care required.
