Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel UNIT: 8S Progress Care unit CLINICAL INTERVIEW Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years of STAC Stepdown experience required for traditional traveler. No first time traveler Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: BLS, NIHSS EMR: CERNER Ratios: 1:5 Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Trauma post-surgical, MVA, elective surgeries, Whipple’s, chole’s, GSW, blunt/penetrating trauma’s, assaults, ATV, amputations Skills required: Blood Admin, skeletal, bucks traction, drains, JP, CT, wound dressings, wound vac management, wound care. Heparin gtt, high flow, stable bipap Floating: Float to mixed acuity only Scheduling: o Weekend rotation: every other weekend o On call?
