Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Injection MoldingOxford Solutions is working with a manufacturing client seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct hire, onsite opportunity. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with building maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on industrial maintenance experience with PLCs and injection molding equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsSupport maintenance needs for injection molding equipment and related manufacturing machineryTroubleshoot and program PLCs to support equipment operation and minimize downtimeRead and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specificationsWork with live, low-voltage, and high-voltage electrical systems in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70 standardsAssist with general building maintenance as neededDocument maintenance activity, repairs, and equipment issuesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including hands-on maintenance of production equipmentExperience with PLC troubleshooting and programmingInjection molding equipment experience requiredStrong mechanical maintenance backgroundAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment specificationsExperience working with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsKnowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70 electrical safety standardsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
