Role Description The Finance Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting the financial health and stability of Concord Health. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and analyzing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and performing routine accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. The role also involves preparing financial reports and summaries for internal stakeholders, monitoring variances, and identifying areas for cost optimization or process improvements. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify financial data, answer questions, and support decision-making. This position requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to financial policies and regulations, and clear communication in a remote work environment.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Candidates should possess solid Finance knowledge, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning concepts.
Candidates should possess the ability to prepare and review Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
Candidates should possess Accounting skills, including reconciliations, journal entries, and familiarity with accounting standards.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field are preferred.
Experience using financial software or ERP systems, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with healthcare or service-based industries are beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
