Neurointerventionalist Opportunity At Mayo Clinic FloridaMayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a fellowship-trained neurointerventionalist to join an established and growing multidisciplinary neurosciences team. We welcome candidates from neurosurgery, neurology, or radiology backgrounds with advanced training in endovascular and neurointerventional procedures.This position offers the opportunity to partner with an experienced group of neurointerventional specialists and a broader team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and vascular surgeons to further develop and integrate a comprehensive neurovascular program. The practice encompasses the full continuum of cerebrovascular care, including complex stroke intervention, elective aneurysm management, and advanced minimally invasive therapies.The successful candidate will play a key role in programmatic growth and alignment—working collaboratively across specialties to enhance clinical care delivery, expand capabilities, and advance research and education within a highly integrated model.Clinical Scope:Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic strokeEndovascular treatment of intracranial and extracranial aneurysms (coiling, flow diversion, stent-assisted techniques)Management of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs)Carotid and intracranial stenting, including management of atherosclerotic diseaseEmbolization procedures (tumor embolization, epistaxis, preoperative vascular lesions)Treatment of venous sinus thrombosis and other complex cerebrovascular disordersAdvanced diagnostic angiography and physiologic assessment of cerebrovascular diseaseKey Responsibilities:Perform the full spectrum of neurointerventional proceduresContribute to the continued development of a comprehensive stroke and neurovascular programParticipate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborative care pathwaysEngage in education of residents, fellows, medical students, and PhD traineesParticipate in clinical, translational, and/or basic science researchWhy Mayo Clinic:Mayo Clinic in Florida is ranked the #1 hospital in Florida by U.S. News & World Report and is part of Mayo Clinic, consistently ranked the #1 hospital in the nation.Our neurosciences practice is defined by a highly collegial and integrated culture, where specialists work together in a shared mission to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
