Personal Lines Account Manager

Step into a role where you’re more than an Account Manager—you’re a trusted advisor, problem‑solver, and go‑to expert for our standard Personal Lines clients. In this role, you’ll deliver proactive, best‑in‑class service while helping clients navigate their coverage with confidence and partner closely with a supportive, high‑energy team across multiple RSC offices to provide a seamless client experience. Your Impact: Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations. Leverage personal insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities for a high volume, fast‑paced book of business consisting of standard personal lines clients. Foster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in AMS/EPIC accordingly. Participate in the retention of renewal business. Interact with producers and office leaders to make coverage recommendations and engage in account rounding activities. Ensure the client has continuous and proper coverage and advise the client of any recommendations within a mutually established timeline. Review current policies and provide recommendations regarding carrier placement options. Utilize department workflows and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage. Execute coverage analysis as needed and provide the client with accurate quotations for any additional coverage. Successful Candidates Will Have: 3‑5 years’ experience in Personal Lines client management. Valid P&C broker’s license. Industry specific designations preferred—CISR, CIC or similar. Proficiency in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360, Work Smart and EPIC preferred. Extensive knowledge of Personal Lines underwriting coverage and procedures. Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters. Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, hear, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment characteristics described are representative of those employees performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Occasional travel may be required.
