Travel RN in the Emergency Room – Night Shift

Required skills:

• Valid New Mexico RN license or a current Compact license
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC/ATCN certifications from AHA
• Strong clinical skills pertinent to emergency trauma and patient stabilization
• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Ability to float across units as needed and handle emergency/crisis situations efficiently

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with trauma nursing or critical care in emergency settings
• Additional certifications such as CPI or equivalent
• Prior travel nursing experience or familiarity with diverse hospital environments

Preferred education and experience:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• At least 1-2 years of ER nursing experience in a fast-paced setting

Other requirements:

• Availability to work 7 PM – 7 AM, with rotating weekends and potential on-call responsibilities during low census periods
• Flexibility to float to different locations based on census needs
• Ability to handle physical demands of emergency nursing, including patient transfers and prolonged standing
