About the Role:

As a Bellman, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for guests at our establishment. Your primary responsibility is to assist guests with their luggage, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival and departure experience. You will also provide guidance and information about the hotel’s facilities and local area, enhancing the overall guest experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to guest service, contributing to the hotel's reputation for exceptional hospitality. Ultimately, your efforts will help foster guest satisfaction and loyalty by delivering attentive and courteous service at every interaction. 

This position pays an hourly rate of $10/hour, plus tips.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage safely.
• Valid driver’s license for assisting with transportation services.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of the local area and hotel layout.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems.
• Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.
• Certification in hospitality or guest services.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage handling.
• Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about room features and hotel amenities.
• Coordinate with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure timely room readiness and guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and bell service areas.
• Assist guests with transportation arrangements, including calling taxis or providing directions.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and special requests.
• Handle luggage storage and retrieval efficiently and securely.

Physical stamina and the ability to safely handle luggage are used daily to assist guests efficiently.
