Patient Service Center Site Coordinator/Lead Phlebotomist-Lady Lake

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team. The role involves coordination and oversight of Patient Service Centers (PSCs) within an assigned area, working closely with PSC staff, management, laboratory staff, and clients to ensure optimal operation. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (rotating Saturdays). Responsibilities Observe and report performance, compliance, or staffing-related issues to supervisors. Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs. Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary. Address customer service-related issues promptly and respectfully. Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum: one year of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred: three years or more of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (if in lieu of work experience). In‑depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
