Job Description:

Bon Secours - St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a locum Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to support inpatient and outpatient services. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice with a dedicated team. The coverage dates are flexible, including options from May 8 to June 2, 2026, with additional dates to be confirmed. The practice involves managing primarily high-risk pregnancies, performing procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, cerclage (preferred), and managing various maternal and fetal conditions.


Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal care in both office and inpatient settings.
• Perform high-risk obstetric procedures including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Collaborate with support staff including RN clinic educators, sonographers, and genetic counselors.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and co-morbidities.
• Use EPIC and Viewpoint EMR systems for documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Experience with fetal procedures and high-risk pregnancy management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.

Schedule:

• Flexible dates, approximately 27 scheduled patients per day.
• No supervision of other healthcare providers required.
• Onsite ultrasound available.
