Mental Health Care Coordinator (Internal Title: FBH Clinical Care Coordinator)

Overview The Mental Health Care Coordinator (Internal title: Clinical Care Coordinator) will provide individualized, flexible services to children, youth, and families, primarily in their homes or community settings. This role supports clinical teams through crisis response, treatment planning, documentation, and family engagement while ensuring safety and continuous care. Pay Starting Pay Range: $33.06 - $36.78 per hour Additional Pay: Coverage after hours: $1,800.00 per year Pay based on performance: up to $8,000.00 per year Bi‑lingual fluency stipend: $100–200 per pay period for Spanish, English, or other languages as needed Benefits 12 paid holidays, plus 1 personal holiday each year 3 weeks vacation per year 12 sick days per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance (1 times annual salary) 403‑B Employee Savings Plan and Employer Contribution Pension Responsibilities Meet and engage families with compassion, support, respect, and enthusiasm Provide or arrange crisis response and stabilization services, completing and communicating safety plans Prepare families for next steps in intervention (team development, planning, natural supports, etc.) Customize approaches to fit family uniqueness, personality, culture, and interests Provide intensive, strength‑based mental health services to children, youth, and families in the community, including assessment, planning, safety and crisis planning, team meeting facilitation, and ongoing evaluation of treatment strategies Brainstorm and negotiate strategies that build on child and family strengths Consult with clinical supervisor, mental health specialists, and others as needed and incorporate recommendations Meet productivity and documentation standards, ensuring complete, accurate, strength‑based documentation for all clients served Respond to crises promptly and collaboratively Facilitate individual and family therapies aligned with the overall plan Utilize parent/family expertise in problem solving for specific needs Adjust intervention techniques to fit each situation without changing the plan direction Advise and facilitate foster care placement when necessary, completing paperwork and notifications Lead team implementation of the plan from inception Reevaluate, modify, and redesign plan based on new information Inspire confidence in children, families, and team members about their strengths and transition success Arrange ongoing formal and informal services and supports Develop after‑care plans and post‑CCS involvement response Participate in an on‑call rotation with other clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators Work out of the FBH Tukwila office with scheduling flexibility for community and home visits Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, behavioral sciences, or an equivalent accredited degree Experience serving children and/or families in mental health, social services, or education Demonstrated ability to deliver culturally competent services within diverse settings Energetic, innovative style with the ability to engage children, youth, and families Enthusiastic, optimistic approach encouraging ongoing participation of all involved Natural ability to work collaboratively through a genuine strengths‑based approach Passion for helping families stay together Ability to work independently and as part of a team Visual assessment of safety within family homes Capability to meet clients and colleagues in homes and community locations Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record per CCS policy Preference for a flexible schedule over a traditional, fixed 8‑5, Monday‑through‑Friday, facility‑based position Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation responsibilities Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
