Forklift Operator

Shift 1: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, Mon - Fri, 21$/hr.; Shift 3: 10PM - 6:30 PM, Sun - Thur, 21.50$/hr.,
We are seeking a Temp-to-Hire Warehouse Operator to support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while meeting service, productivity, and cost goals. The ideal candidate has strong warehouse experience, excellent attendance, and the ability to safely operate material handling equipment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storage, and material handling activities.
• Operate sit-down forklift and scrubber equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process inventory transactions.
• Inspect products and packaging for damage or quality defects.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials while following SOPs , safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse documentation.
• Support operational goals through teamwork, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Work flexible schedules, including up to 12-hour shifts , as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; forklift certification preferred.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) .
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify damaged or non-conforming materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs , stand/walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, and climb.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment.
• Reliable attendance, dependability, and strong teamwork skills.
