Seeking a Part time Float Pharmacist (24 hours per week) to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. Supports Genoa Healthcare pharmacy locations in Colorado Springs and surrounding communities including Pueblo, Alamosa and Canon City, helping ensure individuals receiving behavioral health and specialty care have consistent, reliable access to their medications. Opportunity to provide coverage at Denver area sites also.

Hours: Pharmacy hours are generally Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm / No weekends or holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Colorado
• Certified immunizer or willing to obtain upon hire
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharmacist experience
• Willing to complete LAI training and administer LAI

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
