Speech Therapy - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Permanent Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity offering 32 hours per week, primarily working 5x8-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). The schedule is flexible, with the option to accommodate part-time or full-time hours, and weekends may be incorporated if preferred. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize functional outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the applicable state
• Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience
• Current BLS certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable
• Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Flexible availability to accommodate full-time, part-time, or weekend scheduling if needed

Perform comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and dysphagia disorders. Conduct bedside swallowing assessments, educate patients and caregivers, document treatment progress, recommend adaptive communication strategies, collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation staff, and assist with discharge planning to maximize patient independence and quality of life.
