Associate Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities Pleadings & Discovery: Managing comprehensive written discovery, and preparing responses to complex discovery requests. Reviewing incoming discovery, meeting and conferring to obtain complete responses, and high-level analysis of when and how to proceed with motion practice to secure necessary evidence. Motion Practice: Researching, drafting, and arguing a variety of motions, including discovery, dispositive, in limine motions, in state and federal court. Case Management: Overseeing all aspects of litigation, including scheduling, meeting court deadlines, and maintaining meticulous case files. Depositions: Preparing for and conducting and defending depositions of dealer technicians, plaintiffs, defendants\' corporate representatives, and expert witnesses. Client Communication: Maintaining regular, empathetic, and professional communication with clients to manage expectations and provide updates on case progress. Qualifications Required Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited ranked law school. Active membership and in good standing with the California Bar. 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation preferred, with a strong preference for experience in consumer law or other plaintiff-side litigation. Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Proven ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet demanding deadlines. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Intellectual curiosity and self motivation. Skilled in teamwork and communications. Preferred Prior experience specifically with Lemon Law (Song-Beverly, Magnuson-Moss, or other state-specific consumer protection statutes) . Experience with state and federal court litigation.
