If you're someone who enjoys keeping things moving, solving problems, and being the person customers and teammates can count on, this could be a great next step. As an Order Management Specialist, you'll play an important role in the customer experience-coordinating orders from entry through invoicing, resolving issues or changes, and keeping customers and channel partners informed along the way.
You'll work closely with operations, sales, finance, and other internal teams to help ensure customer commitments are met and issues are resolved. You'll also work with account-level details such as pricing, payment terms, invoicing, credits, and order discrepancies, making strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers especially valuable. This is more than simply entering orders. It's an opportunity to take greater ownership of the customer and order process, build strong relationships, solve day-to-day business challenges, and gain broader exposure across a manufacturing organization. You don't need to be a highly senior expert to succeed here. If you're early in your career, and have experience in customer service, order support, billing, accounts receivable, cash applications, credit/collections, customer account coordination, or a similar customer-focused business environment with financial or account-level responsibility, your skills may translate well to this opportunity. If you're organized, responsive, comfortable working in business systems, skilled at building customer trust, and known for following through, this could be an opportunity to broaden your experience and take on greater end-to-end ownership. Responsibilities:
At Ingersoll Rand, we embrace a culture of personal ownership - taking responsibility for our company, our communities, and our environment, as well as our individual health and well-being. Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to empower you with the tools and support necessary to take charge of your health, ensuring that together, we can continue to make life better. Our range of benefits includes health care options like medical and prescription plans, dental and vision coverage, as well as wellness programs. Additionally, we provide life insurance, a robust 401(k) plan, paid time off, and even an employee stock grant, among other offerings. These benefits are our commitment to you, so you can be your best at work and beyond.
