Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs \"Join our team and honor Wisconsin's veterans.\" The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King (WVHK) is recruiting for a limited term employment (LTE) Operations Program Associate (Member Appointment Scheduler) , to support our dedicated Medical Transportation Services team. The Home is a 24/7/365 long-term care facility that provides comfort, support, and professional healthcare services to elderly or disabled veterans and their spouses. Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Veterans Home Administrator (Commandant), this position provides outpatient clinic support and schedules members’ medical/diagnostic/treatment appointments, including arranging for transportation to/from off-campus appointments, for the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King. Outpatient clinics support ancillary service needs of the member population, requiring complex scheduling and coordination efforts. Duties and responsibilities include outpatient scheduling, clerical duties, and communicating with contracted partners. Duties and responsibilities also include data management of member information, coordination with Community Care/Optum Program and maintenance of adequate supplies. Starting wage is $22.76 per hourwith additional compensation for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. (pay structure, differential, any additional applicable pay provisions). This job does not offer employee benefits. Operations Program Associate is in pay schedule-pay range 02-11. This position is not represented by a bargaining unit. LTE jobs have no guaranteed hours or shifts. LTE jobs are limited to 1039 hours in a 12-month period, are based on operational need, and can end at any time. LTE’s will be filling in for vacations, leaves of absence and other urgent coverage needs to support outpatient clinic needs as well as scheduling for member off-campus appointments and transportation needs. This position is primarily responsible for customer service as it relates to assigned tasks. General work hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., or 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
