Sustainable Community School Site Coordinator - Chicago Arts High School

The Sustainable Community School Site Coordinator leads the day-to-day implementation of theSustainable Community Schools strategy at Chicago Arts High School, a Chicago PublicSchool.The Site Coordinator is an employee of the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance and serves as the primaryliaison among PRAA, Chicago Arts High School leadership, teachers, students, families,community members, partner organizations, and other relevant CPS stakeholders. TheCoordinator is responsible for building relationships, facilitating collaborative planning,coordinating programs and services, monitoring grant implementation, supporting data collectionand reporting, and advancing the continuous improvement of the SCS initiative.This is a full-time, fully in-person PRAA position primarily based at Chicago Arts High School.The position will also require regular work at PRAA facilities, community locations, partnerites, and other locations throughout Chicago as needed.The successful candidate will be a highly organized, collaborative, and relationship-centeredprofessional who can bring diverse stakeholders together around a shared vision for studentsuccess. The Coordinator must be comfortable managing multiple projects, facilitating meetings,working with data, coordinating contractors and programs, and maintaining compliance withPRAA, CPS, SCS, and applicable grant requirements. Key Responsibilities This is a fully in-person position. The primary work location is Chicago Arts High School, a Chicago Public School . Regular work will also take place at PRAA facilities, community spaces, partner organizations, and other locations throughout Chicago. Local travel between Chicago Arts High School, PRAA sites, community partner locations, meetings, and program activities is required. The position requires occasional evening and weekend availability for after-school programming, family engagement activities, performances, community meetings, summer programming, and special events. The work schedule may be adjusted based on school programming, community events, and grant activities. The selected candidate must successfully complete all required PRAA and Chicago Public Schools background Requirements The successful candidate will be a highly organized, collaborative, and relationship-centered professional who can bring diverse stakeholders together around a shared vision for student success. The successful candidate will join a collaborative partnership between the Puerto Rican ArtsAlliance and Chicago Arts High School and help build a responsive, sustainable, equitable, andstudent-centered Community School model.
