About the Role

The Company is seeking a Business Strategy and Planning Director to join their Life Company Chief of Staff team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the orchestration of key initiatives that support the Office of the Life Company President. This includes serving as the Primary Board Liaison, integrating with Association peers, and developing key briefings as directed by the Executive Chief of Staff. The role demands a professional with high learning agility, the ability to connect the dots, and a strong background in life insurance, annuity, and health business acumen. The Director will be expected to proactively identify risks, dependencies, and competing priorities, and to foster collaboration across the organization to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience, with a minimum of 8 years in business planning and consultation, particularly in the financial services or related industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, the ability to influence and manage communication with senior executives, and experience in leading strategic and operational planning processes. What sets candidates apart include US military experience, management consulting within the life insurance, annuities, or health insurance industries, and strong storytelling and communication skills.
