POSITION SUMMARY
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types and various other equipment and instruments. 98% possible travel, up to 1-4 weeks at a time.

-Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.

-Set tanks, backfill, install piping systems, and perform testing.
-Read plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
-Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools and distribute them to the appropriate locations --according to project plans or specifications.
-Measure, mark, and record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
-Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
-Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations; compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
-Position, join, align, and seal structural components.
-Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
-Smooth floats, trowels, screens, and powered cement finishing tools.
-Operate and maintain air monitoring or other sampling devices in confined and hazardous environments.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
