Facility Phlebotomist

Position Title: Facility Phlebotomist We are hiring phlebotomists who are patient, reliable, and demonstrate commitment to customer service and donor satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist with preparing the facility prior to opening to receive donors by stocking supplies and equipment and performing quality control checks as assigned. Perform pre‑donation screening, venipuncture, and post‑venipuncture care of donors in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Accurately and legibly complete donor records in a timely manner. Identify and address non‑routine situations arising during phlebotomy procedures and report them to supervisor. Attend and complete continuing education and training in phlebotomy procedures, instruments and equipment as required. Maintain an acceptable level of proficiency in required phlebotomy procedures. Assist other staff members in maintaining smooth workflow and processes. Actively recruit donors. Accurately assess donor eligibility and select optimal collection procedure. Assist with archiving donor records. Perform general administrative duties and assist management as needed. Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and at least six months of phlebotomy experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An associate degree from an accredited college or university is a plus. Certificate of Phlebotomy strongly preferred. EMT certification or related field license a plus.
