Teaching Assistant Professor Job Summary: The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a Teaching Professor position at the Assistant or Associate level. Candidates with substantial teaching, professional, and/or leadership experience may be considered for appointment at the Associate Teaching Professor level. We seek an outstanding educator with a strong passion for teaching, a demonstrated commitment to student success, and the ability to deliver high-quality instruction across the fundamental required courses in industrial engineering. The department's current list of required undergraduate-level courses can be found here. In addition, preference will be given to candidates who can teach in high-demand and forward-looking areas such as, but not limited to, applications of artificial intelligence in industrial engineering, engineering management, supply chain and logistics, and related emerging areas, as well as candidates with experience designing and delivering experiential, project-based, or practice-oriented learning courses.
