GCM Relationship Manager II - Loan Agency

Overview: As part of the LoaOthern Market Solutions Division, the Loan Agency team provides third party Administrative and Collateral Agent services for sophisticated institutional clients in the syndicated and private credit loan space. Our team is responsible for managing daily loan servicing including transaction onboarding, processing assignments/trades, debt service payments, fundings, loan reprices, etc. Join our dynamic experienced team focused on high touch client service and continuous process improvement. Candidates who are interested in a fast-paced environment with career advancement opportunities should apply.Other acceptable locations are: Minneapolis, MN and Chicago, IL Primary Responsibilities:Daily loan administration including but not limited to transaction onboarding, debt service payments, loan fundings, loan reprices, amendments, terminations, etc.Resolve discrepancies and review trade documents for execution. Process executed trades in the loan system.Partner with other relationship managers and other internal parties to oversee portfolio, resolve issues, and foster client relationships.Liaise with clients and other external parties providing excellent customer service, resolving issues, and responding to client requests/questions in a timely manner.Assist with additional special projects and initiatives as requested.Understanding and adhering to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.Promoting an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.Maintaining M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.Completing other related duties as assigned.Education and Experience Required:Combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 year relevant work experience with direct client contactStrong focus on customer service and satisfactionStrong verbal and written communication skillsEducation and Experience Preferred:Bachelor’s degree focused on Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting and a minimum of 5 year relevant work experience with direct client contactExperience with Loan Agency or LoanIQ highly preferredCCTS (Certified Corporate Trust Specialist) certification if corporate trust focusStrong skills in pertinent software applications, with ability to learn new applicationsExperience working in a team environmentStrong interpersonal skills with ability to build significant level of trust with clientsSelf-confidentProven ability to work well with highly capable and successful individualsStrong analytical abilityDemonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with administrative support areas appropriate to the business unit Experience contributing to positive working relationships and maintaining integrity and professionalismM&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $89,000.00 - $148,300.00 (USD).
