Senior Tax Manager - Arizona (Full-Time, W-2)

Avix One Consulting is expanding into individual and small business tax services and is looking for an experienced CPA or EA to join our team in a full-time, salaried role.

This is not a partnership track. It is not 60-hour tax seasons. It is a stable W-2 position with a defined scope and a firm that is genuinely invested in your success and work‑life balance.

What you will do:

Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns, including 1040s with Schedule C, S‑corps, LLCs, and related shareholders. Serve as the technical lead on complex returns and operate independently with minimal supervision. Work closely with a small, experienced team in an in‑person environment in the Phoenix metro area.

What we are looking for:

Active CPA or EA license in Arizona. Five or more years of experience in individual and small business tax preparation. Demonstrated experience with S‑corps, business entity returns, and complex individual situations, required, not a nice to have. Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with clients.

What we offer:

$80,000 to $95,000 salary commensurate with experience, with bonus potential tied to firm performance. Full‑time W‑2 employment. Approximately 40 hours per week on average, with seasonal peaks during tax season. A collaborative team and an established client base to work with from day one.

Location:

Phoenix metro area, Arizona. In‑person with some flexibility.
