Forklift / Clamp Truck Operator

Milwaukee, WI (Northwest side)

Full-Time | 1st Shift 6am - 2pm, Monday through Friday

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Milwaukee, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift / Clamp Truck Operator to join their warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with forklift experience who is looking to expand their skills by learning to operate a clamp truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse.
• Learn to safely operate a clamp truck to transport large/irregular sized material.
• Prepare finished products for shipment using an automated stretch wrapping machine.
• Load and unload trailers while ensuring materials are handled safely and without damage.
• Stage materials for production and shipping.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and organize warehouse materials.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
• Follow company quality and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Clamp truck experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to safely handle large rolls of material and palletized products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
