Process Technician (Night Shift)

Position Location: Mukwonago, WI, US 53149 We have an exciting position open in Mukwonago, WI: Process Technician, reporting to the Molding Room Manager. This role requires the ability to set up, adjust and troubleshoot operations of all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical, water, hydraulic and electrical hookups; documenting processes with maintenance and tool-room work orders; setting process parameters; operating and moving material with forklifts; communicating process status to operators and supervisors; and maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure quality parts are produced. Responsibilities Setup and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and related equipment. Use of O.P.M. 20 system to troubleshoot process problems and document any process changes. Use of production process change form if adjustments fall outside upper or lower control limits. Collaborate with the process Engineer to establish process control limits. Communicate process changes to the operator/inspector for ISO-compliant inspections. Communicate machine and process status to the supervisor, operations and other technicians as needed. Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment. What you will bring on the journey Education : High School Diploma / GED equivalent. Experience : Requires 2-5 years of work experience and knowledge of plastic and plastic processing. Requires knowledge of how an injection-molding machine works. Understand and have good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics.
