Experience: Minimum of 2 years of community hospital experience required.
License: Compact or state license must be in hand.
Certifications: ARDMS and BLS required.
Must-Have:
- Required skills include experience with GE equipment.
- Weekend requirement: Every third weekend.
- On-call requirement: Call coverage will include Monday-Sunday every other week.
- Travel experience is required.
Description:
The Echo Sonographer will perform echocardiograms on patients across various age groups. Experience with 2-D and 3-D echo imaging is necessary. The role involves conducting portable studies and stress echocardiograms. The sonographer is expected to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams. Candidates should have experience with charting systems, specifically Epic. The ability to perform complex anomaly scanning and transesophageal echocardiograms is essential. BLS certification and ARDMS certification must be current and valid at the time of submission. The candidate should demonstrate strong patient care skills and the ability to operate in acute care and outpatient environments. All applicants are expected to adhere to attendance policies during the contract duration.
