Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist

Located in Nashua, New Hampshire, we are an AAHA-accredited, small animal general practice seeing dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. We provide services varying from wellness and sick appointments, surgical procedures, dentistry, radiology, ultrasounds, companion laser therapy, in-house laboratory diagnostics,and much more. We are searching for an experienced veterinary receptionist who wants to feel valued for the work they do and make a difference in peoples' lives and their pets. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Greet and welcome clients and patients personally by name, answer their questions, and triage concerns. Observe signs of fear, anxiety, and stress in animal patients and offer solutions to promote a fear-free experience. Answer incoming calls, emails, and text messages with solutions to client’s questions and concerns about their pet(s). Recognize and triage medical concerns so urgent needs are addressed in a timely manner. Offer clients compassionate emotional support during times of need; must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. Qualifications A minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience required Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker, and strong communicator Highly organized and possesses computer skills Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
