THIS POSTING HAS BEEN EXTENDED BEYOND IT'S ORIGINAL CLOSING DATE LaMar’s Donuts and Coffee Job Description Store Manager (Hourly, Non Exempt, Tip Earning Eligible) Location: Fort Collins, CO Department: Retail Operations Reports To: District/Area Manager FLSA Status: Non Exempt (Hourly) Tip Eligibility: Yes (while performing direct service duties) Position Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations, financial performance, team leadership, and elevated guest experience of a LaMar’s Donuts and Coffee location. This is a working manager role that actively participates in: Guest service (front counter and drive thru) Beverage and food production Team support during peak periods Because the Store Manager regularly performs the same duties as tipped employees, this role is eligible to earn tips while on the clock when engaged in direct customer service. Compensation Base Hourly Rate $20.75 to $30.00 per hour Bilingual Pay Differential +$1.00 per hour for employees who: Speak English AND at least one additional language (besides Spanish, see below) Are approved by management as actively using bilingual skills in the workplace The amount applies to all hours worked (not just service time) +$2.00 per hour for employees who: Speak English AND Spanish Are approved by management as actively using bilingual skills in the workplace The amount applies to all hours worked (not just service time) Overtime Paid at 1.5x hourly rate for all hours worked over 40/week Includes bilingual differential in regular rate calculation (as required by law) Tips Eligible to earn and accumulate tips while on the clock when performing direct service work Tips may include: Cash tips Credit card/digital tips Tip pool distributions (if applicable) No tip credit taken—LaMar’s pays full hourly wage per Colorado and Denver minimum wage laws Tips are additional compensation Tip Participation Rules CAN earn tips when: Serving guests directly Running POS/drive thru Preparing beverages or food Supporting team during active service CANNOT earn tips when: Performing administrative duties: Scheduling, Hiring, Payroll, Inventory planning, Office/admin work Break and Meal Periods 10 minute paid rest break for every 4 hours worked 30 minute unpaid meal period for shifts over 5 hours Benefits Health, dental, vision, life and supplemental insurance Paid time off and sick leave (Colorado HFWA compliant) Employee discounts Career growth opportunities and pathway Core Responsibilities Operations Leadership: Manage all daily store operations; ensure compliance with Health and safety regulations, Food safety standards, Brand SOPs; maintain luxury level store presentation Revenue and Profitability: Drive store toward $2M–$4M+ annual revenue targets; manage Labor %, Food cost %, Sales performance; execute upselling and premium product strategies Team Leadership and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff; maintain compliance with Colorado labor laws, Equal Pay Act, Anti discrimination policies; lead by example as a working manager Scheduling and Labor Management: Build efficient schedules aligned with sales; ensure legal compliance for Breaks, Overtime, Wage laws Guest Experience (Fast Luxe Standard): Deliver elevated hospitality experience; resolve issues immediately; maintain Speed, Accuracy, Professionalism Production and Quality Control: Oversee Donut production, Beverage program, Food consistency; maintain premium quality standards Inventory and Supply Chain Execution: Manage ordering and inventory; reduce waste and shrinkage; ensure vendor compliance Administrative Duties: Timekeeping and payroll approvals, hiring and onboarding, performance management Note: Administrative time is non tipped work.
