In this role, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). You’ll assess and address speech, language, and communication challenges, offering direct therapy as well as consultative services throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly desired
• Proficiency in managing IEPs, progress notes, and compliance documentation
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students referred for speech services
• Provide direct and indirect therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ goals
• Maintain accurate service records and contribute to regular IEP reviews
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
