Experienced Family Law Paralegal

Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule | $/hour

Benjamin Law Firm, P.A. is seeking an experienced Florida Family Law Paralegal to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with the majority of work performed in our Orlando office and some remote workdays available.

We are looking for someone who understands the pace, detail, and responsibility that comes with working in a busy family law practice.   This is NOT an entry-level position. Florida family law experience is required.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable managing deadlines, and able to work independently while communicating effectively with the attorney and clients.

Responsibilities

The paralegal will assist with a variety of Florida family law matters, including but not limited to:

• Divorce and dissolution of marriage
• Paternity and timesharing matters
• Child support and child-related issues
• Modifications
• Contempt and enforcement matters
• Preparation and organization of pleadings, motions, notices, and other legal documents
• E-filing and service of documents
• Maintaining case files and tracking deadlines
• Preparing exhibits and trial materials

Required:

• 2+ years of hands-on Florida family law experience
• Strong understanding of Florida family law procedures and terminology
• Experience with Florida Mandatory Disclosure requirements
• Experience with discovery and financial documentation
• Experience preparing cases for mediation and litigation
• Ability to read, understand, and organize legal documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Professional and confident communication with clients
