Project Manager

Job Title: Project Management Coordinator Location: Hybrid – Plainfield, IN Contract duration: 12 month contract with potential to extend or convert Job Summary: We are seeking an entry-level Project Manager to provide administrative and project support to teams responsible for managing and developing large-scale technical infrastructure projects. This position will support project throughput by tracking project information, organizing meetings, maintaining project databases and trackers, coordinating deliverables, reporting project metrics, and assisting with forecasting and variance reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in project administration, project coordination, engineering, or another technical environment. A background in utilities or transmission is beneficial but not required. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with SharePoint and Power BI are important, while Power Automate experience is a plus. Responsibilities Support project management and project development teams with day-to-day project coordination and administrative activities. Preparing and distributing agendas. Maintaining action-item trackers. Maintain project trackers using Excel and SharePoint. Add new projects and update project statuses as projects progress. Move projects between active, handoff, and cancelled categories as appropriate. Verify project information, including sponsors, funding, and other project data. Maintain project tracking information and update individual project components based on stakeholder input. Support internal project creation and risk-management systems. Generate required project documentation and tracking information. Manage SharePoint site access and maintain SharePoint sites. Assist with SharePoint workflow automation and site improvements. Maintain and navigate departmental Power BI dashboards and reports. Track economic development requests and coordinate the delivery of estimates and schedules. Create one-page project proposals using information provided by stakeholders. Assist with tracking and coordinating emergent projects. Support project development and program development activities. Work with portfolio management personnel to ensure project data and cash-flow information are properly coordinated. Assist with project metrics, trend analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting. Communicate with stakeholders to gather, verify, and organize project information. Requirements Education & Experience Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Entry-level project management or project coordination experience is acceptable. Experience in engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or another technical environment is beneficial. Project administration or project coordination experience within a technical industry may also be a strong fit. Transmission/distribution experience is not required.
