Location: Ellis Island Casino, Hotel & Brewery Job Description Category: Casino Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Reports To: Manager of Table Games Responsible for dealing with all games professionally, accurately, and according to policies and procedures, and ensure a positive customer experience. Proficient in all aspects of dealing blackjack and roulette. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be prepared to relocate prior to their start date. Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration Card. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations as well as the Company's internal controls, policies and procedures. Familiarity with gaming software and security systems is a plus. At least 1 years of experience in Blackjack and Roulette Dealer. High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time during shift. Proficient use of a computer, including keyboarding and mouse skills. Must be able to bend/kneel & work outdoors less than 25% of the time. Hearing, vision, speech, and literacy skills are critical. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance.
