Corporate Paralegal

Position Profile Weaver is looking for a Paralegal to join its Tax Controversy team/group. The role includes assisting the Head of the Tax Controversy team in resolving tax disputes for clients across various industries. Job Responsibilities Assist in drafting responses to tax authorities. Conduct tax and legal research and analysis. Liaise with external parties including clients and tax authorities. Maintain client response files and manage response deadlines with tax authorities. Support with administrative tasks. Assist with drafting external tax content. All other duties assigned. Qualifications Proven ability to work successfully in a fast-paced controversy group – highly organized self-starter with ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with little supervision. High proficiency in MS Office Suite. Excellent communication skills – presentation, written, and verbal. Compensation and Benefits At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people.
